EGGPAPER
CHICKEN GAME V1Prelaunch edition, updated September 1, 2026
Introduction
Chicken Game is a fully onchain risk economy built around Chickens, Foxes, and EGG. Chickens produce the token. Foxes compete for taxes and stolen rewards. Every decision asks the player to choose between steady production and the chance of losing what has not been claimed.
Chicken Game V1 is an exact mechanical fork of the original Wolf Game V1 contracts. Names and theme have changed, while the core economic rules remain intact.
The V1 loop
Chickens
Each mint has a 90% chance to produce a Chicken. A Chicken staked in the Coop produces 10,000 EGG per day until the global staking production cap is reached.
- A normal claim sends 80% of earned EGG to the Chicken owner.
- The remaining 20% is distributed to staked Foxes.
- A Chicken must remain staked for at least two days before it can leave the Coop.
- Leaving the Coop carries a 50% chance that all unclaimed EGG is stolen.
Foxes
Each mint has a 10% chance to produce a Fox. Foxes do not lay EGG. They earn from Chicken claims, failed exits, and the theft mechanic applied to later mints.
Every Fox has an Alpha score from 5 to 8. Rewards are divided by Alpha points, so a Fox with a higher score receives a larger share of the common reward pool.
The EGG economy
EGG is produced through Chicken staking and consumed by later NFT mints. It does not create NFTs by itself. A player chooses to call the mint function, and the contract burns the required EGG from that player.
This creates the central loop: more staked Chickens can create more EGG, while more EGG can be destroyed to expand the NFT supply. Foxes redirect part of the production through tax and theft, giving the scarce 10% species a different economic role.
Minting and supply
The collection supports a maximum of 50,000 NFTs. The first 10,000 are the paid launch supply. The remaining 40,000 can be minted by burning EGG at increasing prices.
| Token IDs | Payment | Cost per NFT |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 10,000 | ETH | 0.06942 ETH |
| 10,001 to 20,000 | EGG burn | 20,000 EGG |
| 20,001 to 40,000 | EGG burn | 40,000 EGG |
| 40,001 to 50,000 | EGG burn | 80,000 EGG |
After the first 10,000 mints, each newly hatched NFT has a 10% chance to be transferred to the owner of a randomly selected staked Fox, if an eligible Fox is available.
Risk and theft
A Chicken owner keeps 80% of a normal claim.
On unstake, Foxes may steal all unclaimed EGG.
A staked Fox owner may receive the newly minted NFT.
Contract architecture
Four contracts make up the launch system. Chicken Game V1 stores ownership and generated traits. The Coop accounts for staking, production, tax, and theft. EGG controls token minting and burning. Traits provides onchain NFT metadata and artwork assembly.
